Creative Manager

Satellite Foundation is looking for a creative visionary with a passion for storytelling, community, and impact.

We are on the lookout for a Creative Manager to lead and champion our creative strategy — someone who can inspire and guide a team, co-create with young people, and bring bold ideas to life. 

This is a unique opportunity to shape how creativity is embedded across our organisation and how we amplify the voices of children and young people who have a family member experiencing mental health challenges. Working closely with our Director of Programs and Engagement, you’ll help drive innovative, meaningful projects that place lived experience and self-expression at the centre. 

You’ll lead a passionate creative team of staff and collaborators, build partnerships, and deliver projects that empower young people to share their stories in powerful, creative ways. What you need to know: 

Employment is conditional on:   

• a satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) 

• a satisfactory International Police Check if you have lived overseas for longer than 12 months in the past 10 years 

• a current Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of commencement) 

• proof of rights to work in Australia as described in legislation 

• certified evidence of relevant professional qualifications (if outlined in the Essential Skills and Experience) 

• Disclosure of any misconduct or formal disciplinary action taken by any current or former employer. 

This role is part-time (0.6 FTE).  It is essential for this role that the successful candidate will have the ability to occasionally travel regionally in Victoria, and work sometimes on weekends and after hours.  Therefore, you will need a drivers’ license, access to own vehicle and schedule flexibility.
