Heather Blakey

Heather Blakey is a PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia researching video games and aesthetic philosophy. She previously worked as a communications advisor in the publishing and writing industry and has worked for academic and commercial brands in Australia and the UK. Her writing has been published by M/C Journal, ArtsHub Australia, Australian Book Review and Westerly. Heather co-hosts the game studies podcast Meaningful Play with Dr Sian Tomkinson.
