Nicolette Fraillon, world-renowned Chief Conductor and Music Director of The Australian Ballet and Artistic Director of Orchestra Victoria, has decided to descend from the podium in 2022, with final farewell performances in The Australian Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet seasons in Melbourne (October) and Sydney (December).
Fraillon has had a distinguished career as one of the longest serving Chief Conductors in Australia’s orchestral history and The Australian Ballet and Orchestra Victoria plan to pay tribute to her over the coming year.
