A prominent tourist attraction on the west coast of Ireland has been covered in colourful graffiti, with custodians saying the offender, if identified, could face prosecution. The Cliffs of Moher, which rise 120m on the west coast of County Clare, attract up to 860,000 visitors annually.
The graffiti appears on a remote section of the Cliffs and was discovered by photographer David Olsthoorn on one of his shoots in the area. He told the Irish Examiner the graffiti artist would have taken great physical risks to access the site.
