13 projects score $3M Australia Council touring investment

Latest Playing Australia round backs touring productions across the nation, especially for regional and remote areas.

The performing arts sector receives another raft to weather the COVID-storm with Australian Council’s nearly $3M injection through Playing Australia to support touring acts in 2022.

As previously reported by ArtsHub, the reintroduction of multi-year investments and streamlined application process has been cautiously welcomed by organisations. ArTour, which voiced their support is one of the latest funding recipients that will present shake & stir’s theatre adaption of Jane Eyre across 40 national venues.
