Iran’s Fars news agency was not pleased with the sight of First Lady Michelle Obama’s neckline, opting to Photoshop a photograph of Obama when she was presenting the award for Best Picture at The Oscars.
Obama was wearing a silver dress with mid-width straps and a scoop neckline, which was transformed to completely cover her neckline and part of her arms. Photoshopping women is a common occurrence by Iranian state media, which stipulates that all women who appear on television must wear a hijab that covers their hair, arms and legs.
