Should a commercial gallery receive Catalyst funding?
Half a million is a big piece of the $12 million pie to be awarded to a commercial gallery within a climate of reduced government funding. But is that the whole story?
In short they were: Perth independent theatre company The Last Great Hunt to tour a play about dementia ($14,840), the music-therapy organisation Hush Music Foundation (Victoria $50,000), and Brisbane-based Aboriginal art dealer Suzanne O’Connell Gallery and Associates ($485,450).
