How to lobby for the arts in Election 2016

On Monday, NAVA and Artspace in Sydney hosted a “town hall” style forum to lay some steps in how – we as a sector – can move forward with a unified voice to have an impact.

Arts leaders called on all members of the sector to get involved.  Time is at a premium with only five week’s until the Federal Election. To have visibility in that deluge of campaigning and critical rhetoric, they emphasised we need to be smart, we need to be vocal and we need to be strategic.
