State Library of Queensland Fellowships and Medals 2027

Uncover a hidden chapter of Queensland history.

Research heritage places, explore music history, investigate business history, or share stories of First Nations and LGBTQIA+ communities with up to $25,000 in funding available. Successful fellowship applicants receive funding, a dedicated shared workspace, access to State Library of Queensland’s collections and specialist support from library staff throughout their research journey.

Applicants from across Australia are welcome – you don’t need to be an academic or professional researcher to apply. Come explore, interpret and contribute to the significant collections of the John Oxley Library.
