Georges River Council is seeking expressions of interest from an Artist (or Artistic team) to create an artwork design for the mixed used court (basketball and futsal) to be a part of the new adventure playspace and youth precinct at Peakhurst Park. The artwork is to incorporate the sports line-marking and at least one of the below themes requested during community consultation:

• Native flora and fauna
• Sporting/athletic related
• Local heritage and identity
• Highlighting the rich cultural history of the area

The Artist is to provide a concept statement outlining how the design connects to at least one of
the above themes and inspires the concept of the adventure play and youth precinct. Please note
that if the design features Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property, the artist will need to ensure
that all necessary approvals and consent have been obtained. 

The entire budget for the projects must include artist fees, including but not limited to: concept,
design development and site visits. The project has an indicative budget of $3000 exclusive of GST.
