Wesley Enoch announced as Sydney Festival’s new director

After five years at QTC, Enoch will take over from Lieven Bertels as Festival Director for a three-year tenure from 2017-2019.

Wesley Enoch, a Noonuccal Nuugi man from Stradbroke Island and Artistic Director of Queensland Theatre Company since 2010, has been appointed as the next Director of Sydney Festival.

He will take over the reins from Lieven Bertels, who completes his term in 2016, marking the Festival’s 40th anniversary.
