Vale Prince: end of a purple reign

The innovative guitarist, showman and singer-songwriter has died aged 57.

Music icon Prince, born Prince Rogers Nelson in 1958, has died of unknown causes.

His unresponsive body was found in an elevator at his Paisley Park Studios compound, which included his home, in the Minneapolis suburb of Chanhassen on Thursday morning local time.
