WA slashes arts budget for the state (WA)
This week, treasurer of WA State Government handed down the budget for 2022-23 financial year – which shaves arts and cultural budgets even further and leaves the entire sector on edge. The 2021-22 budget saw the State acknowledge support required for the sector through Covid-19. However, this $50 million support package is removed from the forthcoming financial year.
