Syrian artist Tammam Azzam’s ‘Syrian Museum’ presents a series of masterpieces by painters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Henri Matisse, Goya and Picasso superimposed unto the Syria’s devastated landscapes.

Last week, one of these images – featuring Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss against a bombed wall in Syria – went viral after London’s Saatchi Gallery shared the picture on its Facebook page.
