Program nurtures mental health alongside art

A new program involves those living with mental heath issues to build their creative practice.

COVID recovery is as much an economic one as it is a mental one, especially in the arts where around half of artists and arts workers experienced a significant impact on their mental health according to NAVA’s 2020-21 Pulse Survey.

In response to this, the Dax Centre Melbourne is taking the initiative to offer arts programs and exhibition space free of charge for people living with mental health issues.
