The Centre for Contemporary Photography’s (CCP) Salon is Australia’s largest open-entry, photo-media exhibition and competition. All entries are hung in the gallery, making it a great opportunity to gain professional and public exposure. On top of that, $20,000 worth of prizes across 23 categories (e.g. ‘Most Adventurous’, ‘Best work on an Environmental Theme’, ‘Best Animal’) are on offer, including $5,000 for Excellence in Photomedia.

CCP is also running a competition on Instagram. Followers of ccp_australia are invited to upload black and white photos with the tag #ccpsalon2013 to win a CCP show bag worth $200.
