Does changing the score change a film? Hear My Eyes with Haydn Green

Whether it's a cerebral thriller or a sensory drama, Hear My Eyes is determined to change the film-going experience to something sonically wondrous.

‘I like orchestral scores, but I feel like they unfairly dominate the film world,’ said Haydn Green, the creative director and founder of Hear My Eyes, an organisation dedicated to allowing audiences to experience familiar films in new ways – sonically.

As previously reported by our sister site ScreenHub, Hear My Eyes (HME) is returning for the 70th Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) with Andrew Dominik’s classic crime drama, Chopper, accompanied by a brand-new original live score from acclaimed musician and member of the Bad Seeds, Mick Harvey.
