DesignCrowd snaps up US creative contest site

Aussie freelance crowd-sourcing start-up, DesignCrowd, has snapped up Worth1000, a US creative contest site, for an undisclosed sum.

The move is part of the global expansion of the Sydney-based design online sales firm, which has been seeking to shore up its presence in international markets, especially in the US which accounts for about 40% of sales.
