When Hobart is at its darkest, the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) revels in its first ever winter festival, Dark Mofo 2013. A revival and reinvention of ancient winter solstice rites, Dark Mofo is a celebration of myths timeless and timely, of darkness and light, of birth and death, and of fire and ice, in the form of performance, music, art and food.
