Federal land grab threatens South West Sydney’s premier arts centre; local council calls on community’s aid.

The Moorebank Freight Terminal, a federal government initiative designed to relieve Sydney traffic congestion, directly threatens Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, which is owned and operated by Liverpool City Council.

This morning, Liverpool City Council launched the ‘No Freight Terminal’ campaign outside the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in response to the federal government’s plans.
