British learn from Aboriginal art health program

Spread the Word, Arts OutWest’s Aboriginal arts and health project, will be presented at the Culture Health and Wellbeing International conference in Bristol, UK today. 

The Arts and Health Program coordinator of Arts OutWest, Christine McMillan, will present a case study on the Spread the Word project. She will detail the combination of techniques used in bringing local artists, health professionals, and Aboriginal communities together. Her study will be presented as part of the Arts and Health in Australia with a focus on chronic disease session.
