Books bound in human flesh found on Harvard’s shelves

Harvard librarians have identified at least three books bound in human flesh in the university’s collection.

The three volumes reside in the Langdell Law Library, the Countway Library of Medicine, and the Houghton Collection, a repository of rare books and manuscripts.
