Twelve Australian artists will share in over $32,000 in grant money to help develop their careers and extend their professional skills through residencies and mentorships in countries as diverse as Bangladesh and Japan.

Professional slam poet Emilie Zoey Baker was a previous grant recipient which allowed her to attend the Berlin International Literature Festival in 2010. She was the first Australian to go to the festival and the first Australian to win the Internationale Slam!Revue there.
