Zero Carbon House, Sustainable House Day

Homeowners, sustainability groups and local councils are joining forces for Sustainable House Day (SHD) this 7 and 14 September, as the nation’s greenest homes are showcased to the public.

Established in 2001 and held annually, the days will showcase Australia’s most environmentally sustainable and innovative homes that invest in renewable energy and recycling, and are designed to reduce their carbon footprint.
