Anti-scalping legislation draws criticism

Ticket companies up in arms about legislation aimed at curbing scalping.

The proposed legislation by the NSW Government means that those who wish to sell their tickets must have photographic proof that such tickets exist and they must not increase the price by more than 10%. 

The measures aim to reduce online fraud and curb the practice of professional scalpers who buy tickets to popular events with the aim of selling them on at a drastically increased price.
