Absent bidders dominate Friend Auction

Hundreds viewed Donald Friend’s collection leading up to Deutscher and Hackett’s auction over the weekend, and while the room was perhaps not as packed as might have been expected, phone bidders bolstered those gathered together with strong bidding activity via the internet.
