18 April was World Heritage Day, also known as International Monuments and Sites Day. It usually kicks off an extended period of celebrating and drawing attention to Australian heritage via the Australian Heritage Festival (18 April – 17 May 2021).
For over 40 years, the National Trust of Australia has connected venues and sites through what is considered the country’s largest festival celebrating built, natural and cultural heritage.
