After two years in Oz arts adminstrators, Michael Lynch and Chrissie Sharp are off again, this time to Hong Kong. On Friday 27 May, it was announced that Lynch is to take on the leadership of the West Kowloon Cultural Precinct Authority commencing in late July 2011. The day before, Chrissie Sharp announced that she will be leaving her position as Director of the Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas for personal reasons that required her to move overseas. The date of her departure is to ‘fit in with the Centre’s requirements’. Lynch had followed Sharp to Melbourne from London in 2009 just as she had followed him to the UK seven years before. In their continuing arts world ping pong she is once again following him.
