Recent years have seen a trend towards reduced levels of funding from government, making revenue-raising through alternate means increasingly important for arts organisations across the board.  

In both the small to medium sector and among the major performing arts companies, a range of strategies are being explored in order to ensure successful fundraising outcomes – particularly through sponsorship and philanthropy.
