We are all familiar with the feelings of re​gret that come tumbling in after midnight: the sorrow over something that might have been, the disappointments at our mistakes. Whether ​​we are dwelling on an embarrassing stumble or a watershed moment, regrets can gnaw at the soul, tainting what we have in front of us right now – our relationships, our work, our confidence in our own creative ability.

In recent years the art as therapy movement has made explicit the power of the arts to address our existential anxieties and psychological weaknesses.
