Advice from the experts on creating your own culture-focused podcast, as well as suggestions as to what to listen to next.

‘Imitation is the sincerest [form] of flattery,’ the British clergyman Charles Caleb Colton once famously wrote. On that note, since our sister site ScreenHub recently waxed lyrical about podcasts celebrating screen culture, we thought it only fit to follow in their footsteps and focus on some of the country’s best arts podcasts – including theatre, dance, the visual arts and literature.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and was awarded the status of Melbourne Fringe Living Legend in 2017.
