While the waters have subsided and the news headlines have shifted elsewhere, mopping up the damage hasn’t come to an end, for the many who were impacted by the floods.
On top of the clean-up of sodden objects once precious, there is also the mess of getting one’s head around insurance: Am I covered? What’s the timeframe for insurance payouts? And where can I turn for advice?
