How to fund an exhibition

Eight tips to keep your bank balance in the black and take the financial stress out of preparing for an exhibition.

Finding the funds for an exhibition is one of the most daunting tasks to face as a curator or an artist, regardless of whether presented in a public art space, a commercial gallery, a pop-up or an ARI (artist run space).

While there are grants that can be applied for, the competition in today’s funding climate is fierce and the success rates are not great.
