Nominations were announced on 12 December for the 2019 Sydney Theatre Awards, which will be presented at a gala ceremony on 20 January 2020 at the Seymour Centre.
Sydney Theatre Company’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane led the list with 10 nominations, while Counting and Cracking (which won four Helpmann Awards) received nine, as did American Psycho.
