$300,000 artist support program announced in Brisbane

The new program aims to give Brisbane creatives the time and support required to present shows of a professional standard.

A four year, $300,000 initiative designed to support local artists and producers has been jointly announced by Brisbane Powerhouse and Brisbane City Council.

Called ‘The Bridge’, the new program will focus on a different art form over each of its four years. Supported projects must have a performance outcome at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
