$588,000 game-changer to improve festivals for people living with disability

Eastern Riverina Arts has been granted over half a million dollars in funding by the NDIA for a much needed project that will change the accessibility of festivals for regional NSW.

Over 4 million people in Australia have lived experience with a form of disability. ‘The figures are one in five people identify with disability, whether it’s an invisible disability, hearing impaired, vision impairment, mobility issues, and many others. When we talk about disability, we are talking about the whole spectrum,’ Eastern Riverina Arts Executive Director, Scott Howie told ArtsHub.
