Our production team is preparing for a big season ahead. Instead of hiring for fixed roles, we’re starting by identifying strong candidates and building the right roles around them – based on skills, availability, and project needs. We’re looking for people with broad production experience who can step into leadership or specialist roles, including (but not limited to):
– Draftsperson (Vectorworks) with experience in temporary and permanent venues
– Head of Lighting with strong install-into-season experience
– Video specialists
– Senior all-rounders who can lead on small venues through prep and rehearsal
– Practical fixers/makers who can build, climb, mend and finesse, with an strong awareness of safety protocols
– Senior techs who can duty manage, run end-of-night close, or supervise tech rehearsals
– People who can liaise with artists and staff and help resolve inter-personal challenges
We’re looking for candidates who:
– Have substantial experience in festivals, events, or venue installs – especially in high-pressure environments
– Can support teams of ~30 technicians and solve complex production issues
– Have strong technical skills in at least one area (LX, AV, staging, drafting, etc.)
– Are confident working through all stages: pre-production, bump in, tech, show run
– Are organised, self-directed, and able to liaise with other departments
– Communicate clearly and make sound decisions
– Are Adelaide-based or able to be for live event dates
This is about leadership-level roles. If you’re an experienced crew member but not yet confident leading others or managing site-wide issues – please wait for our general roles later in the year.
Key dates on site are February and March 2026. Some roles require some flexible remote work in the lead up or on smaller events through Spring and Summer 2025/26
How to apply:
Please complete the basic details on the form via the website. Then email to production@gluttony.net.au with the subject line “PRODUCTION EOI”:
– Your CV with references
– A short email that tells us what you’re great at, what kind of work excites you, and how you see yourself fitting into the team
– (Optional): Portfolio, drafting samples, photos of your favourite gigs you’ve made happen.
We’re reviewing applications on a rolling basis. If we see a good fit, we’ll get in touch to find or create the right role for you. Please note, we are trying to put together a balanced range of skills so we will be looking to gather a pool of applicants before we make final decisions.
