Miller's Homestead Officer

Your Library is seeking an innovative leader, passionate about delivering programs and services at our vibrant community space Miller's Homestead.
Miller’s Homestead is a unique historical building, owned by Knox Council, and operated by Your Library to provide enriching and inspiring opportunities for the community. It is vibrant community space, home to a variety of exhibitions and programs that have been carefully curated to educate, inspire, and connect.
The Homestead contains a small library collection, delightful and varied spaces to hire for meetings, art happenings and small events.
Sitting amongst a stunning gardenscape with views to the Dandenong Ranges, the fully fenced garden, with its tranquil atmosphere, is a beautiful space for a picnic.
About You:
You will be welcoming and creative, with an eye for detail alongside the capacity to see the big picture. You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and alongside the Miller’s Children’s and Programming Officer. Your previous experience working with external partners will aid you in maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with Miller’s Homestead stakeholders.
You will translate this to the provision of high-quality services, from day-to-day operations to special events including performances and exhibition launches. Your energy, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will aid in maintaining Miller’s Homestead as a warm, welcoming and inclusive space for all members of the community.
About the role:
- Contract, Full time – 38 hours per week (with monthly ADO) – dependent on skills and experience
- Team Leader salary supplement (approx $3550 per annum )
- Band 5, Level A-D, $82,312 – $96,102 pro rata – dependent on skills and experience
- Commencing as soon as possible finishing on 14 December 2025
- 12% Superannuation
