The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) is one of the world’s leading training and education institutions in circus arts and part of the Arts8 group. Over the years, it has produced many national and international circus artists who now actively perform and are employed by major Circus and Physical Theatre companies around the world.
The position is responsible for:
- Providing culturally appropriate support, advocacy, and mentoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
- Building and maintaining respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, Elders, and organisations.
- Leading and coordinating cultural initiatives and events, including NAIDOC Week and Reconciliation Week.
- Supporting pathways to study, employment, and professional development for Indigenous students.
