Theatre North invites Expressions of Interest from experienced leaders to guide the organisation’s artistic, organisational and strategic direction.

Following the retirement of Theatre North’s long-serving General Manager, the Board invites Expressions of Interest from experienced leaders who are eager to guide the organisation’s artistic, organisational and strategic direction.

The General Manager will work closely with the Creative Director and Board to implement our strategy, ensuring Theatre North remains a vibrant, resilient, and inclusive space for artists and audiences alike.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong affinity for working in a cultural field and have experience across core executive capabilities. They will lead this busy tight-knit organisation with clarity, discipline, heart, and confidence, ensuring Theatre North is striving for excellence across our organisation.

Applicants must possess demonstrated organisational leadership, preferably in a not-for-profit, as well as a passion energising the cultural life of Northern Tasmania.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5:00 PM AEST on 17/04/2026.
