Stockwell, in collaboration with a major player in the Brisbane art scene, has established the Brisbane Portrait Gallery at Fish Lane, South Brisbane.

Stockwell, in collaboration with a major player in the Brisbane art scene, has established the Brisbane Portrait Gallery at 51 Fish Lane, South Brisbane.  Our ambition is to run the best Portrait Gallery in Brisbane to attract artists, tourists and Brisbane art enthusiasts.

We are looking for a Gallery Manager who will work as part of the Stockwell Team.  The Gallery Manager is responsible for putting together concepts for exhibitions, events, interpreting the desires of the Steering Committee, and displaying exhibitions.

You will deliver the logistics, PR, and communications, sales and developing educational programs.  You will need the skills to mobilize and manage volunteers to deliver a unique experience.

You will be part of the Stockwell Team to acquire and collect works of art for the Gallery as well as playing an active role in support of the Brisbane Portrait Prize.

The Gallery Manager will require passion for art and artists with at least 5 years of experience.
