The Burnie City Council is currently embarking upon a ground-breaking process to reimagine the delivery of its arts and cultural services. This will be achieved through the creation of a redesigned single site arts centre incorporating gallery, museum and performing arts activities, creating a new community hub for the people of Burnie.

To assist in bringing this vision to life, we are looking for a passionate and contemporary individual to lead the curation of Council’s existing cultural collection and to contribute to the creation of a cultural experience for current and future generations.
