About the Role
As Creative Services Officer, you will design and produce a wide range of print and digital materials, translating briefs into impactful visual content that supports NIDA’s objectives. You’ll ensure consistent application of brand guidelines, contribute to the evolution of brand identity, and provide visual branding support across the organisation. The role involves managing and maintaining design assets, improving creative workflows, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of projects. Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, you’ll support campaigns, events, and initiatives while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and mentoring junior team members.
About You
You are a skilled and creative graphic designer with at least five years of professional experience in an in-house or agency setting. You’re proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with tools like Figma, Canva, or After Effects. With a strong grasp of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and digital best practices, you consistently deliver high-quality, cohesive designs across multi-channel campaigns. You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects and priorities. Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly present design concepts, and you bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to every challenge. You’re also committed to fostering an inclusive environment and open to engaging with equity-focused practices. Experience in agency settings, integrated campaigns, or a passion for the performing arts are a bonus.

This is a full-time 2-year contract with base annual salary is $95,454 + 12% Superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.

Considerations:
- You are required to have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role. This role is not suited to a working holiday visa holder.
- A valid Working with Children Check for NSW is essential. Having one or being willing to get one and to support and implement NIDA’s Child Safe Strategies is necessary to undertake this role.
