For anyone who has completed or nearing the end of formal education in a creative sector discipline the prospect of developing a career can be daunting. For those interested in pursuing careers as curators the problem can be particularly acute. So it was with considerable interest that I met last week with Clea Irving, a recent graduate in Art History from Melbourne University whose first show as a curator, Space re Place, co-curated with Danielle Peck, will open this Friday as part of the Melbourne Festival of Design.
