Draft sketch for Albert’s Hyde Park Memorial
A grouping of enormous bullets is the subject of Tony Albert’s sculpture for Sydney’s Hyde Park, commissioned by the City of Sydney to mark the centenary of Australia’s involvement in World War I, and the first monument to Aboriginal servicemen and women in NSW.
Gina Fairley is ArtsHub's Senior Contributor, after 12 years in the role as National Visual Arts Editor.
