Established in 2011, the Festival is based around the concept of performing anywhere but your typical theatre. Over its three years to date, Anywhere’s events have been staged in cars, parks, laneways, even public toilets. Now it is headed south, to the Melbourne suburb of Frankston.

Festival CEO, Paul Osuch, was keen to take Anywhere Festival somewhere that was not a major city, with minimal theatres but lots of creative talent.

‘Frankston has a great arts base and we know the festival is unique so people will come out from Melbourne to see it,’ Osuch said.

Frankston City Council Mayor, Cr Darrel Taylor, believes Anywhere Festival will further enhance Frankston’s reputation for being a leader in the performing arts.
