50-years is an eternity in any relationship, let alone the survival of a commercial gallery.

This week SH Ervin Gallery celebrated the remarkable half century of the Watters Gallery with an exhibition that “cherry-picked” five decades of painting and sculpture, works loaned back from prominent public and private collections.
