Students to be graded on making a song and dance

Australian students will be able to formally study musical theatre, both theoretically and practically, as of 2016.

​The new syllabus to teach musical theatre ​is launched this week by the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB). The program, covering both vocal technique and repertoire, will be introduced along with a series of publications designed to support musical theatre education from beginner to diploma levels.
