Bundanon’s Artists in Residence program is the largest initiative of its kind in Australia.
Located on 1,000 hectares of wildlife refuge on the South Coast of NSW, the program operates on an annual call-out for applications and provides a unique opportunity for artists and researchers from all creative disciplines, both domestic and international.
The Artists in Residence program is a pillar of Bundanon, an organisation created to support creativity and learning in a unique cultural and natural landscape. Structured through partnerships with leading arts organisations, companies, cultural agencies, and patrons, the program facilitates creative exploration and offers participants an expansive environment to develop their artistic practice and engage with fellow creative minds.
This competitive residency program is made possible by the generous contribution of Arthur and Yvonne Boyd to the Australian public. Established in 1997, it has grown to become the largest program of its kind in Australia, hosting over 250 artists annually. Artists, groups, and organisations from around the globe and across all creative disciplines are encouraged to apply.
