The Bradfield Development Authority’s Arts and Culture Advisory Panel provides
expert advice on developing the character and identity of Bradfield City through cultural infrastructure, programs and public art.
This year we are growing our membership and seeking 3 arts and culture experts residing or working in Western Sydney to join our Panel for a 3-year tenure commencing in July 2026.
The Panels objectives are to:
• Ensure the inclusion of Western Sydney experts in the creative sector, contributing valuable
local perspectives to the cultural fabric of Bradfield City
• Integrate community and cultural knowledge into the design of Bradfield City, fostering
environments that are culturally safe and inclusive
• Facilitate the sharing of information and opportunities between BDA and the Western Sydney community, strengthening engagement and collaboration
BDA is seeking experienced arts and culture practitioners (10+ years) who bring deep sector
knowledge and strong connections to Western Sydney, within one or more of the following specialised areas:
• Public art commissions, as an artist and/or curator
• Civic spaces including cultural infrastructure projects
• Large scale festivals/events
• Community/public programming
Panel members will be remunerated at the hourly rate of $362.50 (fee is aligned with NSW
Government Standard Commercial Framework for PMS Scheme Categories 1 – 12) and required to attend two – 3-hour mandatory meetings per calendar year in March and September.
